
This month, as we'll be meeting a few days after the inaugural Document Freedom Day., I thought it might be nice to run through the options we have for keeping our data as freely usable as our software.
Over at the Coffs Ex-Services Computer Club, we'll be doing more or less the same a week earlier, but I suppose the issue of open formats is particularly important for us in the free world, as we have to communicate and work with our technologically disadvantaged friends and colleagues who choose, or are forced, to use software that doesn't play nice with others.
