Mailing List Spam

Hi all,

I'm on the chlug mailing list, and I don't mind staying on it for the chance there might be some interesting topics come up.... However, my spam filters have started picking up the spam on the list at such a level that mails are now being bounced at SMTP time. So now the list has informed me I'm being banned due to the excessive bounces. 

Is there any chance of better spam handling on the list? Or otherwise ignoring bounces (I think the bounces would have some spam assassin headers to hint at why they are being bounced).

Mailing list not related

As far as I know, there is no mailing list associated with this site. There is an old Coffs Harbour Linux mailing list but it isn't active in any welcome way or, at least, it wasn't when I looked well over a year ago.

What mailing list?

I wasn't aware there was a mailing list. I expect it was started by the LUNCH group many years back, but I don't know who might be in charge of it.

I'm developing a strong dislike for mailing lists, preferring RSS feeds, or things like the Drupal Notify module, which you can set up via the "My notification settings" tab on your user account page here, to email you (no more than once a day) when (and only when) there have been any new posts on the site.

I used to use dingoblue.net.au ye-e-arss ago but they went under, that's an old list.
